Description:
A beautiful About Uncirculated 1327 AH year 6 of Muhammad V reign, or 1913 AD, Egyptian ten Qirsh (or piastres) silver coin. The coin depicts the tughra of Muhammad the fifth with the denomination under it and a rose to its right all surrounded by branches and having two crossing quivers under it and seven stars above it. The bottom of the obverse also shows the letter "H" for mint mark. The reverse says "Duribah Fi Misr" or struck in Egypt with the number 6 over the "beh" in duribah (for 6th regnal year of Muhammad's reign) and the date 1327 AH under it for the year when Muhammad V ascended the throne, all within a wreath and having three stars on top. Just a beautiful design! The coin is beautiful and is clean with very light toning, enough to reduce the luster of the coin. It has all the details well preserved and readable and having a beautiful pleasing appearance. Please carefully review the scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description.

Egypt, actually these coins were struck in Birmingham England as evidenced by the mint letter "H" in the bottom of the obverse.
Size and weight:
This is a 10 Qirsh, should weigh approximately 14 grams of 0.833 silver and is about 33 mm in diameter.

Condition:
The coin is graded About Uncirculated AU 53 by ANACS. It comes in a plastic holder that is so labeled. The coin has all of its details being there and having nice eye appeal. It is beautiful with minimum wear commensurate with its age and about uncirculated state. It does have minor scratches and bag marks. The coin has nice eye appeal.
