    Description

    1923-S Mercury Dime, Choice Almost Uncirculated, certified PCGS AU-58.
    Well struck and very close to Full Bands. VERY scarce, as virtually all of the true AU-58 survivors seem to have been cleaned at one point or another, to try to make an “Unc” out of them. I was lucky to have found a tiny group of four original AU coins, saved almost certainly at random by a member of the general public, and obviously put away immediately in the year of issue. Three certified AU-58, the best two I had hoped would come back Mint State, they are that close - this is the "worst" of the three, if that gives you any indication.
    As for the price listed here, unfortunately you can thank ebay’s new higher fee regime which is costing me 12%+; I am more than happy to sell for less under different circumstances.
