Description
All American boyWonderful, 13.5" long, spring-jointed,
Schoenhut
WALKER,
wood character boy doll
with all
original, paint finish
and no repainting. Produced in Philadelphia by Harry E. Schoenhut he is an all-American little boy! What a precious face he has with lovely dark blue eyes with lots of detail, soft eyebrows, closed pouty mouth, nice complexion and eyebrows.
He has a
swivel head and joints only at his shoulders and
"walker" swing joints
at his hips, with
curved arms
, straight wrists, elbows, knees and ankles (feet do not have holes in base as walkers do not use the round metal stand).
He has the
partial
circular blue, printed
H. E.
Schoenhut/1913 cprt
.
decal signature
on the back of his head and is undressed and
ready for to make him an outfit. He is in fair to good overall
condition except for some paint wear
where his original wig was probably glued and surface paint wear on face and
on his legs and
one finger damaged
as these wonderful, sturdy dolls usually had lots of rough and tumble play time! He is a hard to find model in a wonderful smaller size and just needs a cute wig and outfit to make a terrific addition to any doll collection. Have fun with him!
