All American boy wants to play with his pony
Wonderful, 16" long, spring-jointed,
Schoenhut
wood character boy doll,
model No. 17/108
, with all
original, paint finish
and no repainting. Produced in Philadelphia by Harry E. Schoenhut he is an all-American little boy! What a precious face he has with lovely dark blue eyes with lots of detail, soft eyebrows, an open/closed pouty mouth, nice complexion and eyebrows.
He has a
swivel head and joints at his shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles.
He has the circular blue, printed

on the back of his head as well as the
large, oval Schoenhut decal, 1911, signature
across his shoulders. He wears his original, one-piece knit union suit undies with original trim and ribbon ties and is ready for your to make him an outfit. He is in good overall
condition except for some paint crazing (where his original wig was nailed)
as these wonderful, sturdy dolls usually had lots of rough and tumble play time! He has not had any repaint or repair and just needs a cute wig to make a terrific addition to any doll collection with his sweet disposition. He can be posed nicely with all your other Schoenhut dolls as his joints move smoothly. Have fun with him!
