Description

A Wonderful Antique Handmade Miniature  French? German? Wood & Painted Peg Doll with Original Fancy Plum Colored Silk Thread Dress + Lacy Crochet Slip.
She measures approx. 2 & 3/8th in. (H) x .75 in. (W) x .75 in. (L). Her Blue Painted Base measures approx. 1 in. Round.
She is in Very Good 'Previously Owned' Condition with Overall Minimal and Minor Expected Wear (mild paint surface crackle seen on front & back neck, chin, arm & leg areas + tiny bits of paint loss on head/arms+ dress a teeny bit tattered on sleeve mainly...No Biggie) due to age. Her Primitive Arms are Moveable, but Crudely Made. I can't tell if her Attached Arms are Pegged/Jointed...Hidden Under Sleeves & I  don't want to break them by forcing them up & down.
She has Painted Yellow, White & Black Dotted Shoes/Boots.
Signed/Stamped: BERNICE + Deposée + Winter '1930.' That makes her 91 yrs. old!!
