    Antique Victorian Spectacle Eyeglass Case
    Paper Mache?
    Black Lacquer with gold design
    Open on one end.
    The case is in very good shape for its age. The black lacquer is worn on the inside edge where the glasses would have slid in and out. the gold design is worn in several places.
    There appears to be a crack on the front of the case(pictures 3 and 4)  I don't know if it is in the lacquer or all the way through.
    approx. 6 3/8" x 1 3/8" x 3/4"
