    Description

    True Antique Hand Carved Wooden Dolls - so called Peg Wooden or Penny Wooden - crafted in Germany in the early 1900's, around 1912.  These are hand painted faces and hair, tiny wooden noses, and jointed at elbows, knees, shoulders and hips with no breaks.   They are dressed in clothing from the 1950's, made especially for each doll.
    The tallest doll is 11.5" with a pretty painted face and colorful dress.  There is a large dent in the back of her head.
    The first girl with the yellow dress is 10.5".  She has a replaced nose, a mohair blend blonde wig, and a cute cotton dress.
    The second girl is 10" high with a sweet face, mohair blend blonde wig, and matching dress to her big sister.
    The boy is 10" high with a perky smile, replaced nose, forehead repainted, and dapper gold wool felt jacket and hat.
