Cheney Case Latch Replacement ( Nickel ) w / rivets

Cheney sold that division out some time ago. The new company makes them the same size and  dimensions etc. Except for a couple of  small  cosmetic  changes.The latch is 2"1/4 long and 1"1/4 high, as the original Cheney.. Shown is a Nickel  ...  ..  I   HAVE REPAIR KITS if you need  extra ones.. Or you can request a single hinge repair kit (6 ) rivets at 2.00 each..

Some of the NEW and OLD   Cheney ( top ,hasp )  latches don't interchange with the VINTAGE  60's  the 70's and the 80's ,  So you have to change the top and bottom together as always.We  finished two California Guitar Shows, and a dealer bought some Cheney latches from me, and the hasp  (top  part ) interchanged with his bottom latch.. It was a rectangular '69 Fender guitar case.... Go figure????? Some do some don't??????
The same key  works on both latches  if you purchase 2 (2 keys provided ) or if you purchase 1 latch ,(1-key provided)  ..
