How to determine what size bracket:
This bracket will be installed directly in the middle of your knee/pony wall to provide support to both sides of an overhang. The Flatt Wall Countertop Support Bracket is sized in length tip to tip. Start by measuring the entire length of your countertop. For example, you have a countertop of 28 inches. Subtract 3 inches from each side of the countertop. This subtraction is to stay away from the outer edge of the countertop, which is usually 2-4 inches. This gives us a total length of 22 inches (28 – 3 – 3 = 22), thus you would need to order 22-inch Flat Wall Countertop Support Brackets.
