Description
Up for sale is an early 1980’s (I’m told it’s 1983) vintage U.S.A.-made PEAVEY T-30 ELECTRIC GUITAR WITH HARDSHELL PLASTIC CASE. Has 3 blade-style single coil pick-ups with a 5-way blade-style switch. Has original “P” Peavey brand knobs. Has original Peavey Trulok (Kluson style) tuners. Has a maple neck and fingerboard with original frets and metal nut. Has a great neck tilt adjustment option at the bolt-on heel plate. In very nice condition. Comes as pictured from the smoke-free, dog-free, child-free home of a serious, long-time adult musician. From what I can tell, this guitar is all original. The case might not be original, but it works great for the guitar. There are the usual nicks and dings that are to be expected from a players guitar of this age (early 1980’s), but even for a players guitar, this is in quite good shape (see photos). The only condition issue of note is a crack in the heel area of the neck (see photo 7). The small crack does not go through and should be easily repaired with glue and clamps if it even really needs to be repaired at all. Like all used guitars (and new in many cases), the buyer might want to do a set-up to his/her specifications. Some electronic spray could be used, but the electronics worked fine when tested. All in all, this is a nice example of a vintage (around 40 year old) U.S.A. made Peavey T-30.Comes “AS IS”. I am not a guitar expert, luthier, nor do I work on, repair, or do set-ups on guitars. I have been playing guitar for around 30 years and music for around 35 years. I have also owned many guitars of various makes and models. As you may know, the vintage American made Peavey guitars and basses have been growing in value and notoriety as well-build, quality instruments. This is a nice example as you can see from the photos provided. This guitar will be shipped with strings loosened, in the hardshell case with padding inside the case. The guitar case containing the guitar will be shipped in a guitar shipping box.
Thank you very much for your valuable time and interest, and above all, take care.
