We created the Quick and Easy Picket Line after being unable to purchase a line that was safe for our horses, quick and easy for anyone to tighten. We watch so many people frustrated trying to tighten the line. Worst many horses injured and one even killed.
We know first hand this was a huge issue there had to be a way to ensuring a safe environment for horses, and the peace of mind for their owners knowing that your horses were securely picketed over night or for extended periods of time, as well as, anyone no matter what their strengthens being able to Quickly and Easily tighten your line.
It is very easy to put up anyone can put it up. There is a ring and a hook at each end that wraps around the tree or pole. (PICTURE 2) The hook goes in the ring and you then tighten it by the ratchet handle. (PICTURE 1) You do need to place your knot eliminators where you want to tie your horse before totally tightening the system. So hook it all up and tighten some then move the knot eliminators where you need them. We put them about 4 feet from the tree/pole and finish tightening it. Then we use the rings that are wrapped around the tree and the hook goes though for the hay bag.
(PICTURE 2) No need to buy or deal with more rings hang the hay bags on the rings next to the tree/pole.
