Special Schoenhut girl, 1924-26
Wonderful, 19" tall, jointed,
Schoenhut,
wood character girl doll with all
original, paint finish
and no repainting. Produced in Philadelphia by Harry E. Schoenhut she is a very
RARE version with a closed mouth and teeth as well as SLEEP brown eyes & wood pate.
What a precious face she has with lovely brown eyes with lots of detail, multi-stroke eyelashes, closed mouth, pretty complexion and nice eyebrows. She has a
swivel head and
elastic strung joints
at her shoulders and at her hips, knees, wrists, elbows, and ankles with no holes in her feet (as she is not made to stand alone) and can assume nearly any kind of pose.
She is wearing a very detailed, cream and brown printed, cotton dress with darling playful children design, square neckline, piping, pleated skirt and original one-piece knit onesie underwear, just needs undies, shoes and socks.
She is in excellent
condition with no damages or repairs, no scuffs or wear and no repaint. T
hese  wonderful, sturdy  dolls usually had lots of rough and tumble play time! She is an extremely hard to find model in a wonderful size.  Have fun with her!
