    Description

    Excellent condition Vintage Gibson/Lifton/ESS &ESS/Geib OM/000 Guitar Case, Compatible to 4/4 Classical Guitar- May fit Martin Dreadnought size as well*(see sizes below) or similar sized electric guitars from Gibson, Gretsch, Guild, etc.
    This case is the familiar black outside yellow/gold interior case used by Gibson and other guitar makes around the late 60’s, early 70’s-
    There is no actual badge from the maker on it, but it looks very similar to the models offered by Lifton, ESS & ESS & Geib of this time period- The inside measurements within 1/4” or so are as follows:
    Overall inside top to bottom: 42”
    Lower bout: 15&1/2”
    Upper bout: 11 & 1/2”
    Waist: 10 & 1/2”
    Inside height: 4”
    Lid height: 1”
    The inside looks perfect, like seldom if ever used, with no smells, moisture damage or any defects whatsoever-inside pocket is perfect with original keys included-
    The outside has a few dings here & there, but all latches, clasps & handle work perfectly, including the locking mechanism-This is a very high quality case in great condition-
    I bought this case thinking it would fit my vintage Gibson ES175
    but it’s made for a bit smaller-bodied guitar, like the ones mentioned above.
    I took a couple pics with various sized guitars in the case and the best fit is a standard classical 4/4 size guitar-
    The Martin OO size guitar fits OK but there is a little wiggle-room-These guitar examples are not included of course..
    I’ve never seen a case this clean from this vintage period and should make a great home for that special vintage guitar you have….
