Vintage SWIFT & ANDERSON Boston USA Chrome Magnifying Glass. S&A Radiant Firefly.
This is a fantastic nostalgic hand held magnifying glass. I'm not certain of the magnification because it is not marked. Inside the box reads: S&A (for Swift & Anderson, Inc) Firefly For Stamp Collectors, Engineers, Antique Collectors. Reading Gas and Electric Light Meters, Nautical Charts, Road Maps, Checking Serial Numbers, Obliterated Signatures. Fingerprints, Forgeries, Spurious Stamps and Bogus Prints. The outside of the magnifier has the Swift & Anderson Made in USA. I put a couple of batteries in it and the light did not turn on. It is 7.25" long from top to tip of handle. It will come in it's original box.
